How Does it Work?
While wrinkles and fine lines can form for various reasons, one of their most common causes is an unavoidable one — facial movements. Throughout a single day, everyone makes countless facial expressions when they speak, eat, smile, frown, or laugh by contracting their facial muscles. Over time, the repeated contraction of these muscles causes wrinkles to form in the skin above them; this is why wrinkles are particularly common near areas where facial movements occur, including the eyes, eyebrows, mouth, nose, and forehead.
