The MicroLaserPeel can reduce and even eliminate scars, making it the number one choice for patients with acne scars. The laser procedure effectively resurfaces the skin, removing the very top layer and allowing a fresh, clean, bright layer to emerge. The MicroLaserPeel procedure treats textural issues on the skin, like acne scarring. The laser removes a precisely determined layer of epidermis, which smoothes the surface texture. Depending on the depth, recovery can be akin to a sunburn, lasting between three and five days. Recovery from a deep treatment may take a couple of weeks.

Here at Rios Medspa, we believe in customizing treatment to get the best individual results, which is why we have added the NanoLaserPeel to our service offerings. The NanoLaserPeel is the same treatment as the MicroLaserPeel but with a slightly less intense laser. This allows an easier recovery for your skin with less visible redness and peeling after the session. While the NanoLaserPeel is more gentle, the MicroLaserPeel is more powerful and may be able to achieve desired results in fewer sessions. The MicroLaserPeel can be combined with other laser treatments to reduce office visits while maximizing the patient’s time. Our medical estheticians particularly like to use the MicroLaserPeel with other treatments, like the IPL (intense pulsed light), to treat sunspots and freckles along with their acne scars in one session.
