How often should I schedule dermaplaning?
Most clients maintain their glow by booking every 4–6 weeks. This cadence aligns with your skin’s natural cell-turnover cycle and pairs well with monthly skincare plans.
Will the hair grow back thicker or darker after dermaplaning?
No. Dermaplaning removes vellus hair (“peach fuzz”), which grows back at the same rate, color, and texture. The regrowth may feel a bit blunt at first, but it does not become thicker.
Anything I should avoid before and after my treatment?
Before: pause retinoids and strong exfoliants (AHAs/BHAs) for ~3–5 days and avoid waxing/laser on the area for a week. After: skip heavy sweating, hot yoga/saunas, and active exfoliants for 24–48 hours; moisturize and wear broad-spectrum SPF daily.
How long do results last?
You’ll see and feel smoother skin immediately, with that “makeup-glides-on” finish typically lasting 1–2 weeks. Consistent home care and regular sessions help extend and compound your results.
